Penticton is situated between two lakes, namely the Lake Okanagan to the north which extends approximately 90 miles skirting the shores of Kelowna and coming to rest against the north shores of the City of Vernon. Two very impressive lakes! Wow. And what a great place to spend a lazy summer day - on that beach. I'm still amazed the water is not too cold to swim in...
