It happens. Can you imagine my dismay when pigeons ate all I put out for robins and tits?
We put up our hummer feeder too, but fortunately, we've only had hummers....

We filled the feeder with nectar and popped it onto the deck preparatory for the hummingbirds homecoming. We were dismayed to find uninvited finches helping themselves in the meantime.
