This is a photo of the former loading dock where fruit from our abundant orchards was loaded onto barges for transport to fruit warehouses This structure is now being used as a recreational diving board.
Makes me want to sit at the end, feet dangling, just looking at the wavelets or ripples... Yes we are having quite a lot of snow this year. Global warming is making snow in the north of France an unusual thing where it was quite normal a few decades ago...

Presumably the fruit now goes by lorry? If so, a shame for the environment, but at least the historic dock has been preserved.
