Wildflowers

Our unusually coolish weather this spring brought forth a plethora of wildflowers on the mountain slopes. Under normal conditions our winter is short, the weather dry and the warmth discourages such an abundant display.

Wow, I would have thought that your winter was long! It is nice to have some colour around though, isn't it?

It is so nice to see some color finally. Yes we had a rather long winter. I went over the North Cascades Pass Sunday and there is a lot of snow around. It finally opened the end of April. MB
