Ex Loading Dock



This is a photo of the former loading dock where fruit from our abundant orchards was loaded onto barges for transport to fruit warehouses This structure is now being used as a recreational diving board.

It does look well taken care of. Which is a good thing. I wish it was warm enough to go swimming. MB

Presumably the fruit now goes by lorry? If so, a shame for the environment, but at least the historic dock has been preserved.

Makes me want to sit at the end, feet dangling, just looking at the wavelets or ripples...
Yes we are having quite a lot of snow this year. Global warming is making snow in the north of France an unusual thing where it was quite normal a few decades ago...
