Light Standard Container

The City of Westbank which is located some 16 kilometers (10 miles) from the City of Kelowna, arranged to have their light standard wiring and apparatus containers modified artistically. This is not only visually very pleasing but it also discourages graffiti artists who had graced these containers in the past. There are several of these around the main streets, each portraying a variety of fruit grown in the valley. Here we have a container replicating peaches.

Very cheerful, especially on one of your (rare - lucky you!) wet days.

Pretty cool. Is WestBank going to keep their name? MB

Very nice. So much better than battleship gray.

Thank you, I appreciate the comments. We are going to referendum on Nov. 15th. We should hear about the status of the name shortly thereafter.
