As most, if not all of our fruit and vegetables are grown in the valley, bulk purchase markets are popular not only by the locals, but by the tourists as well, who stock up before leaving for home.
I love market pictures (see my Sibiu ones from today and yesterday!). In Glasgow we have a few farmers markets and the quality of the veg is so much better than what you get in the supermarkets.
