Pier & Dock Extension

The lakeside Cove luxury condo resort is in the process of extending it's dock and pier facilities preparatory for summer traffic.

Mercedes

Its not every day that we see a vehicle in an approximate age bracket of between 1974 and 1980 in such prime condition. This 450 SL Classic Mercedes hardtop convertible is obviously the recipient of the pride of ownership.

Putting Green

In keeping with yesterday's posting, those that couldn't get on the course or driving range practiced their putting skills on this section of the greens. Obviously anxiousness prevails this time of year.

Golf

The sun brought the golfers out in droves today. While the golf course itself was loaded, others were practicing their shots at the driving range.

SynLawn

This vehicle is an advertisement for SynLawn Synthetic Grass which has been available in our area for the past few years. After residential or commercial installation this artificial environmentally friendly grass is a safe surface which requires no maintenance, upkeep or water. prices vary from between $4.00 to $12.00 per square foot.

The Okanagan Valley is a major all season tourist area, ranging from skiing and snow sports in the winter to fertile orchards, vineyards, golf and water playground throughout the summer months. The photo is a sample of some of the recreational vehicles that occupy our camping facilities even through the winter months.

Walled Coummunity

This photo was taken in what is known as a walled community. Kelowna has many developments such as this where the people own their own homes but their yard work is kept up by what is known as a Condominium Association. This association could be run by the residents themselves or by paid professionals. Each household contributes proportionate costs towards the outside upkeep, street cleaning and maintenance, security, etc
